The new plant, part of a multi-phase expansion, will have an annual production capacity of <strong data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"464\">2 gigawatts (GW)<\/strong> of photovoltaic (PV) modules, utilizing <strong data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"513\">PERC<\/strong> e <strong data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"552\">N-Type solar cell technologies<\/strong>. Phase 2, scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026, will add another <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"635\">2 GW<\/strong> capacity and represent an additional <strong data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"689\">$100 million<\/strong> investment.<\/h5>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"922\">O <strong data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"723\">$294 million<\/strong> facility will produce <strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"773\">Gamma Series Monofacial<\/strong> e <strong data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"802\">Vega Series Bifacial<\/strong> PV modules designed for various applications including residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"1164\"><strong data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"941\">Marco Marques<\/strong>, General Manager of Boviet Solar USA Manufacturing Operation, emphasized that the plant is a significant step in strengthening <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1104\">U.S. clean energy supply chains<\/strong> and contributing to <strong data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1163\">North American energy independence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1166\" data-end=\"1564\">The opening of the factory comes at a time when Boviet faces significant challenges from U.S. trade tariffs. In recent developments, the <strong data-start=\"1303\" data-end=\"1334\">U.S. Department of Commerce<\/strong> levied high antidumping and countervailing duties on solar cells from several Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam.
